A flex-fuel commuter motorcycle would be launched soon in India, said Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) on Thursday.
Company is working on flex-fuel vehicles and launching a motorcycle in India would be a major step for India’s second-biggest two-wheeler company. It is already selling flex-fuel motorcycles in Brazil. The flex-fuel motorcycles would run on both petrol and ethanol.
Recently, Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) had urged that to achieve 20 per cent ethanol blending by 2025, steps should be taken to ensure that the Flex-Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) is launched in the country soon
