Goa: Sugarcane farmers have threatened to launch an agitation in front of the Sanjivani sugar mill from November 24 if the government fails to disburse the promised compensation dues, reports Digital Goa. They have also asked the government to come clear on the future plans for the mill.
Farmers have stated that they are not happy over the government allocating the land of the sugar mill to the truck terminal, Forensic College without taking the stakeholders into confidence.
