Hyderabad: The state government is committed to reviving the Nizam Sugar Mill and we are working on it, said Industries Minister KT Rama Rao, reports Telangana Today.
A team led by the then Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has visited Maharashtra to study the operations of the sugar mills, he said.
In the state Assembly, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao stated that the government is committed to reviving the sugar mill. He plans to revive the sugar mill on the lines of the cooperative sugar mills being operated by farmers in Maharashtra.
He has also assured to invest Rs 250 crore to revive the factory, said Rama Rao.
