Shivamoga: Minister for School Education Madhu Bangarappa has said he will consult legal experts to resolve the issue of farmers cultivating land that once belonged to Tungabhadra Sugar Works Ltd, reported The Hindu.
Addressing the press in Shivamogga on Wednesday, Madhu Bangarappa, who also serves as the minister in-charge of the district, conveyed that he recently became aware of the issue through discussions with farmers. He emphasised the cautious approach required due to the involvement of court orders and assured that the government would ensure that the farmers currently cultivating the land would not face any disturbances.
