Graham Clark, the chief executive officer of Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC) retires from FSC after four years of service since March 2017.
He took charge of FSC after Fiji witnessed devastation due to Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016. His farewell ceremony was organised at the FSC Head Office in Balawa, Lautoka on Tuesday.
According to the local media report, he said that he was satisfied with the work he had done as CEO of FSC. “I am very satisfied that all our young people have shown progress in learning and managing the sugar sector. Now we have quality cane crops for harvesting and crushing that would help in increasing yield. The weather was a bit tough and challenging,” he said.
He said, “Farmers are acquiring new techniques and technology to increase cane output.”
