Green Energy Plants: Dhiraj Deshmukh signs MOU with Norwegian Green Tech

Latur: MLA Dhiraj Deshmukh, in a key development, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Norwegian Green Tech (NGT) to initiate a project aimed at processing waste from the Sugar Cane Industry into biogas, energy, and green fuel. This pioneering venture in Latur showcases a firm dedication to fostering innovation, embracing the principles of a circular economy, and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Deshmukh said, “This project represents our commitment to innovation, circular economy, and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Together, we are building a bridge towards a greener and more prosperous tomorrow ,where waste becomes a valuable resource, and sustainability becomes the cornerstone of our progress.”

NGT brings forth its expertise in providing modular energy plant solutions that effectively manage diverse waste types, yielding multiple products such as syngas, light oil, char, and thermal heat, which can be utilized across various applications. Notably, the process captures the CO2 emissions within the char, further contributing to the project’s environmental benefits.
