Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: The officials of the Gulariya Bhindara Nagar Panchayat met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Sunday evening at his official residence in Lucknow and demanded revival of the closed sugar mill, reported Live Hindustan.
Nagar Panchayat Chairman Nishant Pratap Singh met the Chief Minister and raised concern about the cooperative sugar mill, which has been closed for the past 17 years. Singh requested that the mill be revived under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to generate employment and support the local economy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured Chairman Singh that the issue would be taken into serious consideration and necessary action would be taken accordingly.
