Panipat, Haryana: Cooperative minister Dr. Banwari Lal convened a meeting of managing directors of sugar mills from the state and instructed them to clear all the pending arrears of cane farmers on time. He asked them to ensure that the farmers should not face any difficulty.
He discussed about the review report with the officials. Taking note of surplus sugarcane in the Panipat district, he asked the millers to divert the cane to other Mills. The Millers agreed on it.
Speaking about construction work of new mill at Dahar village, he said that the government has sanctioned Rs 355 crore for the construction of a new mill and the work is going on with full speed.
