Sonipat, Haryana: The Sonipat sugar mill will end operations after April 20. Sanjay Kumar, the managing director of the sugar mill, appealed to sugarcane farmers to bring their sugarcane to the mill by 6 p.m. on April 20 so that the cane can be crushed.
The managing director stated that during the 2023-24 season, a total of 2,765,200 quintals of sugarcane have been crushed at the mill so far. This sugarcane has yielded 283,000 quintals of sugar this year. All farmers have been paid for their sugarcane on time by the sugar mill.
