Rohtak: The Haryana state assembly witnessed ruckus over the issue of charges of corruption in sugar mills in the state. Raising the issue during zero hour, independent MLA Balraj Kundu said that he has handed over all the documents related to the scam to the chief minister Manohar Lal. He stated that he will resign if the charges are found wrong.
Kundu had alleged that the state-run cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have suffered a loss of Rs 3,300 crore due to siphoning off of molasses and fraud in sugarcane weighing.
Recently, BJP’s Manish Grover has sent a legal notice to Balraj Kundu, for allegedly maligning his image by taking his name in a “multi-crore scam” of sugar mills and other tendering process.
