Samastiipur, Bihar: Hasanpur sugar mill is working to increase its crushing capacity. According to the media report, the mill has set a target of crushing 85 lakh quintal of sugarcane for the season 2020-21.
A team of engineers from three states is working on the expansion of the sugar mill.
According to the media report, the next crushing season will be of five months. The mill will continue sugarcane crushing from November to March. In the current season, the crushing capacity was 50,000 quintal per day, and now the mill expects to increase the capacity to 65,000 quintals per day.
The mill is expanding its capacity to ensure that all the available sugarcane from the region is crushed on time and help the farmers’ efforts to grow sugarcane in the region.
