New Delhi: In a big relief to Delhiites from the scorching heat, a monsoon hit the city. Rains lashed parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region on late Monday afternoon.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain generally cloudy with light rain or drizzle expected. Delhi is likely to receive light rain till July 18.
The maximum and minimum temperature is to remain between 37 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Earlier, the weather agency had predicted that Delhi may witness rain from Monday. According to the reports, Delhi may receive below-normal rainfall this year.
