New Delhi: India has reported 23,950 new cases of Covi-19 within 24 hours. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry, the total caseload rose to 1,00,99,066. The number of people recovered from Covid-19 so far is 96.63 lakh till Wednesday.
With 333 new deaths, the total deaths rose to 1,46,444, showed the data uploaded by the department.
The recovery rate has been reached to 95.69 per cent while the fatality rate of Covid-19 stands at 1.45 per cent. For the second consecutive day, the Covid-19 active caseload remained below 3 lakh.
According to the data, there are 2,89,240 active cases of coronavirus infections in the country which comprises 2.86 per cent of the total caseload.
