Brazil is taking India’s assistance to modernise existing ethanol production facilities in the country. Brazil’s Dedini Industrias de Base has signed a cooperation agreement with India’s Praj Industries to get ethanol production technologies to the Brazilian market.
In a released statement, Praj Industries said, “This paves the way for Dedini to market Praj’s technology solutions to set up ethanol production facilities using grain-based feedstock and modernize existing ethanol plants in Brazil.”
According to the reports, India and Brazil are expected to sign the memorandum of understanding on production and trade of ethanol when they will meet in Brasilia this year in November. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an official visit to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in November, where both the countries will try to boost trade ties.
