Ethanol Blending Programme has been the top priority of the Government. In the current ethanol supply season, the country has achieved 10% ethanol blending, and very soon India will achieve 20% blending by 2025-26 ESY. The sugar industry has been the flag-bearer of this Programme, and is keeping no stones unturned in ensuring every success and smooth implementation of the Ethanol Blending Programme.
As a step forward, ISMA and Datagro are jointly organizing a day-long conference on Ethanol and Sugar in New Delhi on Wednesday, 21st September 2022. The venue of the Conference is- Taj Palace Hotel, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi.
Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways- Shri Nitin Gadkari has given his kind consent to attend the Conference as the Chief Guest. Food Secretary- Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, Joint Secretary (Food) Shri Subodh Kumar Singh and Joint Secretary (Petroleum)- Shri Sunil Kumar will be key speakers at the Conference, amongst other senior Government officials. There will be representatives from OMCs and SIAM who will participate in the Conference and share their valuable inputs.
The conference will be attended by experts from Brazil sugar and ethanol industry- Dr. Plinio Nastari- President (Datagro), Mr. Evandro Gussi, President, ÚNICA will be attending the Conference, along with other important dignitaries. The tentative programme schedule is attached with this mail.
