Sonjoy Mohanty, the Director General of Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), an apex sugar industry body, has submitted his resignation on April 24, 2023 citing personal reasons .
The resignation has been accepted by the Reforms & Policy group of ISMA with immediate effect.
Mohanty has been serving as the Director General of ISMA since mid September 2022.
ISMA has not yet made any official announcement on who will replace Mohanty.
Before joining ISMA, he was Secretary General at International Spirits and Wines Association of India.
