Core Green Sugar & Fuels mulls to increase its manufacturing capacity at Tumkur plant, Yadgir in Kalaburagi, Karnataka from 5,000 tccpd to 8,000 tccpd, reports Projects Today.
The company will also expand the capacity of the molasses-based distillery unit to 200 klpd from 50 klpd. Furthermore, the company aims to augment its co-generation plant, increasing its capacity from 24 MW to 32 MW.
The company would start expansion work by December 2023 and is currently in the process of finalizing the contractor and machinery supplier for this project.
