Haveri: The Minister for Textiles, Sugarcane Development, and Director of Sugar and Agriculture Marketing, Shivanand Patil, has ordered that all water supply schemes should be put into full operation by December, and any laxity towards this would attract consequences, reports The Times of India.
Patil, the district minister, expressed his disappointment at the KDP meeting on Tuesday over the delay in completing multi-village schemes and urban water schemes in the entire district. He said the last warning was issued to both officials and contractors that these water projects were of paramount priority and ought to be completed at the earliest.
