Mrinal Sugars is planning to set up a sugar manufacturing plant having a capacity of 5,000 tccpd at Pudakalkatti village Dharwad district of Karnataka, according to Projectstoday.
The company will also set up an ethanol plant of 100 klpd capacity as well as a 21 MW power cogeneration plant. The project is spread over 43.12 acres of land.
The company is awaiting financial closure and environmental clearance for the project.
The company has acquired land for the project and is expected to commence work by 2023 December.
