Karnataka: Mysugar to sell its sugar stocks at Rs.36.80 per kg

The Mysuru Sugar Company Limited (Mysugar), located in Mandya, has set the price for sugar produced in October 2024, following instructions from the sugar director in New Delhi. The sugar stocks are now available for sale directly from the factory.

According to the press release from the factory, the stock of sugar (S.30 trade name) manufactured so far in 2024-25 and also in 2023-24 is available for sale at ₹36.80 per kilogram.

The management has invited interested buyers to visit the Security Office at the Mandya factory with the necessary information to assess the sugar quality prior to finalizing their purchases. After evaluating the sugar, buyers can contact fcatory to complete the purchase process.

The deadline for sugar delivery from the factory is October 31, as mentioned in the release.

Crushing operations commenced in July and are expected to continue until December. It is noteworthy that Mysugar’s operations, which had been suspended for several years, were resumed last year thanks to a financial boost of ₹50 crore from the State government.
