Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Limited has received approval to establish a new sugar factory in Navage Village, Belagavi District, Karnataka.
In an exchange filing, the company said, “Pursuant to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulation, 2015 disclosure is hereby made that the Commerce and Industries Department, (MSME, Mines, Textiles & Sugar), Government of Karnataka, has approved and issued distance certificate to establish new sugar factory of the Company at Navage Village, District Belagavi, in the state of Karnataka.”
Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Limited was incorporated in the year 1995. It has an integrated sugarcane based unit producing Sugar, Generating Power and a molasses / sugarcane syrup based distillery manufacturing Rectified Spirit, Neutral Spirit and Ethanol. There is also Natural Alcohol Vinegar Manufacturing Unit. The production facility is located at Bellad Bagewadi, Belgaum District in North West Karnataka, which is classified as a High Recovery Zone for sugar by the Government of India.
