Astana: Kazakhstan is on its way to becoming a major player in the sugar production industry as the Ministry of Agriculture has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GCG Capital LLC to set up a sugar refinery, reports Businessmole.com.
The MOU signed on 20 February 2023 will boost the economy of Kazakhstan and will be completed in 2025.
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov said, “This is a major milestone for the country and would be an example to work in a public-private partnership for growth.”
David Thomas, CEO of GCG Capital LLC said, “This project will speed up economic growth and generate long-term jobs for the people of Kazakhstan.”
