Kingsmeal Agro is planning to set up a 100 klpd ethanol plant at Mohanpur in the Bardhaman district of West Bengal, reports Projects Today.
As per media report, the grain-based distillery unit would be spread over 5.52 acres and will also set up a 3.3 MW co-generation plant.
The company is awaiting environmental clearance (EC) for the project and has not yet finalized a contractor for the project.
The work on the project is likely to begin in the fourth quarter of FY24 and would be completed by April 2025.
