France based ITECA in association with the Shrijee Group will conduct a live online presentation on the topic ‘On-line colour Measurement of Wet and Dry Sugar’.
ITECA has an innovative product to measure the colour of brown or white sugar, wet or dry after the centrifuges or the dryer. It is well-known for real-time accurate image acquisition and sophisticated analysis to measure the colour of brown or white sugar, wet or dry after the centrifuges or the dryer. Installed above any type of conveyor-screw, belt, shaker, drag, etc. it controls the sugar colour of up to fifteen centrifuges. The HD camera detects and diverts the off-spec products to avoid contamination of the drier.
Speakers of the presentation are ITECA’s Bertrand Gaillac and Claire Rua. Bertrand founded the colour & Vision department at ITECA. He has more than 20 years of deep expertise in analysis of cane and beet sugar. He is a life-long learner with strong interests in R&D. Today ITECA is the first choice for any sugar factory wishing to measure colour or to control growth of its crystals directly in its vacuum pan.
Claire has been with ITECA for fifteen years in Sales development. She manages the North and East Europe, Middle East, and North Africa markets in collaboration with Bertrand. She is also in charge of the supplies and production follow-up.
