New Delhi: Since July, India has reported the lowest fresh cases of coronavirus. Total 19,556 cases were reported in the last 24 hours along with 301 deaths, stated the health ministry data. The active cases in the country have dropped to 2,92,518 which is lowest in 162 days.
Now the number of active cases in India are 10,075,116 with 9,636,487 cases of recovery and 1,46,111 deaths till date.
With the increase in the recovery of patients the recovery rate rose to 95.64 per cent. The health ministry has stated the recovery rate is continuously rising from the last 24 days.
Highest daily cases were reported in Kerala with 5,511 followed by Maharashtra with 3,811 cases on Tuesday.
