Maharashtra: Restaurants, hotels open after months of lockdown

Covid-19 has impacted the business activities in India. And, now the government is working hard to bring back the economy on track again.

Almost after 6 months, the Maharashtra government has permitted hotels, food courts, restaurants and bars to commence their services from October 5 with restricted capacity..

Hotels, food courts, restaurants and bars in the state have reopened their services from today, months after they were closed in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The services are resuming with 50 per cent capacity.

Government has asked them to follow all fixed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The guidelines state that all customers must be screened at the entry point and only asymptomatic customers shall be allowed.
