Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: Malakpur sugar mill began cane crushing season by performing puja and rituals on Thursday. The inauguration of the crushing season was done in the presence of the unit head and mill employees along with the sugarcane farmers. The mill has set a target of crushing 152 lakh quintal sugarcane this season. The mill had set the same target during last year.
According to the media report, sugarcane dues is still pending with sugar mill and its unit head Bipin Chaudhari said that the administration will clear the cane arrears soon.
