Muzaffarnagar: Dhampur sugar mill (Mansurpur unit) closed its operations after completing the cane crushing season on Friday. The mill crushed 1,44,51,000 quintal sugarcane during this season.
Arvind Kumar Dixit, vice president of the mill thanked the district administration, employees and the farmers for cooperation and assisting the mill to complete the cane crushing operations smoothly. Several dignitaries of the mill were present on the occasion of closing the sugar mill operations.
Most of the sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh have closed the crushing operations. Rest will also likely to end the season soon
