Muzaffarnagar: Sugarcane crushing of the Mansurpur sugar mill concluded on Thursday with the mill setting a new record of sugar production by producing 18 lakh quintal sugar.
According to mill administration, they had completed the cane crushing amid a crisis of coronavirus pandemic and lockdown imposed to avoid the spread of the virus. The mill administration had strictly followed the social distancing rules and had emphasized on sanitisation from time to time.
The mill workers also followed all norms such as social distance, sanitisation, hand wash and others. Management said that with the cooperation of all the farmers, harvesters and mill workers we managed to complete the cane crushing season successfully.
