Indian benchmark indices ended higher for the second consecutive session and touched fresh record highs on March 1.
Sensex ended 1,245.05 points higher at 73,745.35, whereas Nifty concluded 355.95 points up at 22,338.75.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty were Tata Steel, L&T, JSW Steel, Titan Company and IndusInd Bank, while losers were Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Sun Pharma, HCL Technologies, Infosys and Britannia Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 195.41 points higher at 72,500.30, whereas Nifty concluded 31.65 points up at 21,982.80.
