Mumbai: Sensex on Friday was trading, at 244.04 points higher at 40,825.75. Similarly, Nifty was trading 66.20 points down at 12,038.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 40,908.97 points, and Nifty was trading at 12,057.30 points.
Tata Motors, Vedanta, Yes Bank, Tata Steel, SBI, M&M, Axis Bank and RIL were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Auto and Sun Pharma were among the top losers today.
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated by 25 paise to 70.58 in morning session.
