Sensex on Monday was trading 60.68 points lower at 41,620.86. Similarly Nifty was trading 11.05 points down at 12,260.75.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 41,643.86 points, and Nifty was trading at 12,272.10 points.
Titan, Kotak Bank, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, ONGC, HUL and TCS were the top gainer in the Sensex pack. RIL, Bharti Airtel, Nestle, Bajaj Auto, Techm, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank were among the top losers today.
On the currency front, the rupee depreciated 5 paise to 71.17 against the US dollar in morning session.
