Equity benchmark indices climbed in early trade on Friday.
At 10:14 am, Sensex was trading 9.12 points lower at 59,623.23, whereas Nifty was trading 7.05 points down at 17,617.40.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 64.55 points higher at 59,632.35, whereas Nifty was up 5.70 points at 17,624.45.
In the Sensex pack, HCL Tech was the top gainer.
