Maruti Suzuki has ensured that all the vehicles it manufactures will run on E20 fuel by 2023,reports The Financial Express.
As per the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highway, by April 2023, all vehicle manufacturers should switch to engines that run on E20 fuel. This will help the country cut its carbon footprints and achieve net zero emissions by 2070.
C V Raman, Chief Technical Officer, Maruti Suzuki, said, “By April 2023, all the vehicles produced by the company will be E20 compliant.”
The vehicles using petrol are at present using E10 blend and by next year they will be ready to use petrol with E20 blend.
