Mawana: Mawana sugar mill has cleared cane dues worth Rs 38.43 crore against the cane purchased from March 25 to April 3, reports Live Hindustan.
Maresh Kumar, secretary of the cooperative sugarcane committee, Mawana said that the amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the respective farmers.
With this amount, the mill has cleared total dues worth Rs 583.14 crore to the cane farmers.
Pramod Baliyan, senior manager (Sugarcane and administration) has appealed to farmers to cooperate in the process of the sugarcane survey.
