Meerut: According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, Mawana sugar mill has cleared the pending cane dues worth Rs 14.03 crore to the cane farmers. The mill has deposited the money in the bank accounts of the sugarcane farmers.
Pramod Baliyan, General Manager (Sugarcane and Administration) of Mawana mill said, “Mawana Mill has crushed a total of 125.63 lakh quintals of sugarcane till February 24 this year, which is 10.89 lakh quintals more than the previous year. The mill administration has urged the cane farmers to start harvesting cane after they receive SMS.”
