Mawana: Mawana sugar mill has cleared the Rs 15.87 crore payment of sugarcane procured from January 28 to 21. The mill has till date cleared Rs 315.92 crore to the cane farmers for the ongoing season 2020-21. The mill has sent the advice regarding this to the concerned sugarcane committees.
Pramod Baliyan, sugarcane and administration chief manager of the mill said, “The mill is always taking steps for the welfare of the sugarcane farmers. We will continue to clear the pending cane dues.”
“We have initiated the survey of the sugarcane for the next season and urge farmers to fill up the declaration form online as per the directions issued by the sugarcane department,” he further added.
