Mawana: Mawana sugar mill has paid pending cane dues worth Rs 14.20 of the 2019-20 crushing season for the cane procured between May 20 to 25. The mill has paid a total Rs 656 crore to the cane farmers for the crushing season 2019-20.
Senior general manager (sugarcane and administration) of the mill, Pramod Balyan, said that the cane price payment for crushing season 2020-21 will also be started soon. Till December 31, the mill has crushed 64.64 lakh quintal cane with the recovery rate of 10.61 per cent.
