Mawana, Uttar Pradesh: Mawana sugar mill has cleared cane payment of Rs 20.92 crore for the crop procurement from November 11 to 15 during the ongoing crushing season, reports Live Hindustan.
The mill has crushed around 26.72 lakh quintals of cane till November 28. Pramod Baliyan, senior chief manager (sugarcane and administration) has appealed to cane farmers to start cane harvesting after they receive the SMS of receipt. He asked them to supply clean and fresh cane to the cane collection centre for crushing.
