Panipat: As many as 10 employees associated with the Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mill were allegedly involved in a molasses scam of over Rs 6 lakh and the MD of the mill Navdeep Singh suspended them, reports Tribuneindia.com.
A special check drive launched by the mill administration helped in detecting the scam. The employees were sending the molasses by committing fraud in weighing the loaded trucks.
