Meerut: Mawana sugar mill administration has transferred the pending cane dues of Rs 17.63 crore to the concerned committees on Wednesday.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, Pramod Baliyan, GM (Cane and Admin), said that the mill administration has till date cleared around 56 per cent of the total cane dues. The mill will clear the remaining dues soon.
The mill has cleared around Rs 359.22 crore cane dues of the farmers that sold their cane up to February 12. Baliyan has appealed to the cane farmers to cooperate with the officials during a survey of the cane crop for the next season by filling up the declaration form online.
