Meerut: District sugarcane officer Dr. Dushyant Kumar said that the sugar mills of the district have paid sugarcane bills of 35.85 crores on Wednesday. This payment includes dues of previous as well as the current season.
The Kinauni and Mohiddinpur sugar mills have cleared the pending cane arrears of the previous season around Rs 2 crore and Rs 15.16 crore respectively.
Daurala and Sakauta sugar mills cleared the cane bills around Rs 13.69 crore and 5 crores for the on-going 2020-21 crushing season.
