Haldwani: Sugarcane industry minister Swami Yatishwaranand has assured District Panchayat president Renu Gangwar that for the welfare of the sugarcane farmers the closed sugar mill from the region will be started on a PPP model.
Gangwar met minister Yatishwaranand with this demand and handed a memorandum of demand regarding the revival of the Kisan Cooperative Sugar mill in Sitarganj which is closed since 2017.
