Mirganj, Uttar Pradesh: Mirganj sugar mill has made payment to the farmers of the cane prcourement till December 16, reports Live Hindustan.
Unit head Ashish Sharma said that the cane bills have been transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers on Thursday. The amount is around Rs 524.30 lakh. The mill has so far cleared cane bills amounting to Rs 9229.91 lakh. The mill has purchased 34.34 lakh quintal cane till December 28, he said.
He has appealed to farmers to send clean and fresh sugarcane for smooth crushing operations.
