Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: Chhaprauli MLA Sahendra Singh held a meeting with officials at Ramala sugar mill on Monday. He said that there were a lot of problems in this session, but farmers should not face any hurdles in the upcoming session.
He conducted meetings with the officials including Managing director R B Ram and discussed the issues related to the sugarcane farmers.
He has asked the mill administration to examine that the plant is up to date before starting the crushing season so that the farmers will not face any problems during the crushing season.
Amid all odds, Ramala sugar mill managed to complete sugarcane crushing for the season 2019-20. Mill had started crushing on November 9, 2019 after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated it.
The mill faced several problems during this crushing season. As soon as the mill started operations, several times it was halted either due to agitations or due to the technical problems in the functioning of the mill. Sometime the operations were halted due to the agitations led by the employees from the mill
