Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh: Dalveer Singh, MLA from Aligarh, has demanded to hike crushing capacity of sugar mills. He met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to discuss various issues.
According to the news report published in Amarujala.com, MLA made CM aware of the farmers suffering. He said sugarcane farmers are very upset due to non-timely crushing of sugarcane due to repeated technical breakdown of sugar mill machines. And also the machines are very old, therefore there is a need to install new machines of higher capacity, which will prove helpful for sugarcane farmers.”
Sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh are all set to commence cane crushing season.
