Karnal, Haryana: MLA Harvindra Kalyan emphasized the need for installing an ethanol plant and a solar plant along with the power plant in the mill to increase its revenue and reduce expenses, reports Amar Ujala.
Supporting the farmers’ demands, he also suggested that a shed should be constructed in the mill. He was speaking as the chief guest at an event on Thursday, celebrating the Karnal Cooperative Sugar Mill’s selection for the first prize in national efficiency.
During the event, he engaged with the farmers, seeking their suggestions for the improvement of the mill. He expressed his support for the suggestions and demands received during this dialogue. The MLA called on farmers and the sugar mill administration to prepare a ten-year plan to improve the mill’s financial condition and benefit the farmers. He suggested that profits should be used to strengthen the mill’s basic needs. Plans for the welfare of farmers and sugar mill employees should be devised. To improve the financial condition of the mill, it should be developed based on cooperative principles.
