Moradabad: BKU Tikait holds protest over cane price payment and other demands

Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh: Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) Tikait staged a protest at the Collectorate regarding the payment of sugarcane prices and other demands. The BKU workers submitted a memorandum to the magistrate, requesting the DM to promptly resolve their issues, reported Amar Ujala.

Under the leadership of BKU Tikait District President Manoj Chaudhary, the workers organized a march from Ambedkar Park on Tuesday. The protesters reached the Collectorate and handed over a memorandum addressed to the DM to the magistrate.

They alleged that the Raja sugar mill has not paid the due sugarcane prices, and the protesters demanded strict action against the management.

National Secretary Dr Nau Singh, Rishipal Chaudhary, Metropolitan President Pankaj Chaudhary, Division Vice President Yashpal, Amit Chaudhary, Kapil Meena, and Shubham Rathi were present at the protest.
