Morna: The sugar mill from Morna that had stopped operating from last one week began operations after a generator was brought from Gaziabad for its operation.
The mill had stopped operations on January 28 after the technical problems in the turbines. The farmers were facing problems as some were in queue with their cut cane outside the mill and the cane of some farmers was still standing in the fields. The members of the Kisan Union had met the BJP leaders and requested them to start the mill immediately.
The mill administration contacted the concerned authorities from Gaziabad and brought generator at the spot. The engineers at the mill stated that the turbines will be repaired soon.
