Sugar prices on Tuesday rallied to 4-week highs and settled moderately higher. Strength in the Brazilian real sparked short covering in sugar futures after the real Tuesday climbed to a 2-week high against the dollar. The stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil’s sugar producers.
